On September 15, the naming and delivery ceremony for the 9,500-car capacity methanol-ready car carrier (H2676) built by Anji Logistics was held at Jiangnan Shipbuilding's Changxing base. The vessel was officially named " Anji Flourishment" marking a significant step forward for China's automotive shipping industry on its path toward green and low-carbon transformation.
Wang Xiaoqiu, Chairman of SAIC Motor, and Ji Yingqiu, Deputy Chief of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau’s Traffic Management Corps, cut the ribbon for the new vessel. Representatives from key clients and partners, including Jiangnan Shipbuilding, China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd., the China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association, the Shanghai Branch of the China Classification Society, DNV, Shanghai Shuangxi Maritime, the Chongming Maritime Safety Administration, the Lingang Management Committee, and the Shanghai Ship Design and Research Institute, gathered together to witness the delivery of the new vessel.
Xiao Wenlin, General Manager of Jiangnan Shipbuilding, and Wang Zemin, Deputy General Manager of SAIC Motor's Mobility and Services Division, delivered speeches at the ceremony.

The " Anji Flourishment" is the sixth new vessel to join Anji Logistics' ocean-going fleet this year and the fourth new ship in the 9,500-car capacity class. Currently, Anji Logistics operates the largest self-owned vehicle logistics fleet in China, comprising 39 roll-on/roll-off vessels. This vessel is a new-generation eco-friendly car carrier meticulously developed for Anji Logistics by partners such as the Shanghai Ship Design and Research Institute and Jiangnan Shipbuilding, with a carrying capacity of 9,500 vehicles. Designed with methanol-ready features, it can be retrofitted in the future to use green methanol as fuel, meeting the increasingly stringent emission reduction requirements of the International Maritime Organization. This provides a practical solution for China's shipping industry to address new environmental regulations and achieve low-carbon transformation, reflecting Anji Logistics' firm commitment to green objectives.
In the future, the " Anji Flourishment" will primarily serve the ocean-going export operations of Chinese automotive brands, becoming a vital maritime force driving Chinese automobiles into global markets.
