On the morning of September 28, the "Inaugural Voyage Ceremony for the Australia-New Zealand Shipping Route" of Anji Logistics was held at the Lingang Port Area of Shanghai Haitong International Automobile Terminal. This marks the sixth international shipping route launched by Anji Logistics, following routes to Europe, Mexico, the Persian Gulf, and others. The inaugural voyage signifies the addition of another stable and efficient "maritime highway" for Chinese automobile exports to the Southern Hemisphere.

Anji Logistics’ General Manager Zhuang Jingxiong, Party Committee Secretary Chen Qianqian, Deputy General Managers Xin Jianmin and Shen Fei, along with other company executives, joined representatives from partner automotive companies, port authorities, customs, and border inspection agencies to witness this significant moment together.

Chinese automobiles, renowned for their exceptional quality and appeal, are shining brightly in the Australian and New Zealand markets. The launch of Anji Logistics’ Australia-New Zealand shipping route has paved a convenient pathway for more Chinese brands to reach the Southern Hemisphere. This initiative serves as a proactive response to the thriving automotive trade between China and Australia, while also marking another step forward for SAIC Motor in fully expanding its overseas presence and accelerating the enhancement of its international operational capabilities. Supported by Anji Logistics’ international routes and a fleet of 39 self-operated ro-ro vessels, Chinese automotive brands will be well-equipped for their global expansion, bringing distant shipping routes within close reach.
